Getafix Cycles was born out of the need for hassle free bicycle maintenance. Our idea was to develop a collection and delivery service and in association with one of the top bicycle maintenance Companies in the country – BMC – who operate out of a purpose built workshop give you the best quality bicycle maintenance at the best price with the best service.

I personally collect your bicycle, check that the mechanics (BMC) have done the specified work to above standard and deliver your bicycle back to you.

I have been cycling for as long as I can remember. I started entering road races about 23 years ago and MTB races about 12 years ago. I have been through my share of bicycle shops and know that if I don't develop a good relationship with them, then their service generally sucks (why is it up to me to do this?? I'm the customer!!). My irritations would be work not done as requested, bad workmanship, lack of communication – just don't bother calling me back when I leave a message, not been listened to and understanding my needs – and what really got my goat is that I was generally spending a lot of money and not getting the service I deserved. I come from a sales background and I am super focused on personal service.

I started this company out of the pure love of cycling and I was tired of complaining about shoddy service and my bike not been treated properly (don't lean it up against another bike so it gets scratched) so I decided to do something about it – Getafix Cycles.
